SCS#2 SB 1003 -- CONVEYANCES OF PROPERTY

SPONSOR:  Mayer (Bruns)

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee on
Corrections and Public Institutions by a vote of 8 to 0.

This substitute authorizes the Governor to convey state property
located in St. Louis, Cole, Lincoln, Greene, St. Francois,
Stoddard, and Jackson counties and the City of St. Louis.

The substitute contains an emergency clause.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds in FY 2007, FY 2008, and
FY 2009.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that the bill is an omnibus
conveyance bill consisting of land transfers throughout the
state.

Testifying for the bill was Senator Mayer.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
